Mittuniversitetets Förenade Studentkårer

Since Mittuniversitetet has two campuses, Sundsvall and Östersund, there are also two unions: the Student Union in Östersund and our sister union, the Student Union in Sundsvall! We work together on university-wide issues in the collaborative body Mittuniversitetes Förenade Studentkårer (MFS). You can find more information about the Student Union in Sundsvall on their website: studentkarenisundsvall.se.
Tillsammans delar MFS ut Årets Studentfavorit samt Pedagogiska priset vilka båda är otroligt fina och hedervärda priser! Läs mer om dem till höger.

STUDENT FAVORITE OF THE YEAR
Did you have a great internship and are you satisfied with your employer there? Just finished the ex-job and received the best support from your client? Now you have the chance to nominate your favorite for our business galas - Sundsvall Business Awards and the Golden Gala in Östersund.
You who are a student at Mittuniversitetet have the opportunity to nominate the regional employer who was most important to you during your studies, so they have the opportunity to be honored and win a prize at one of the regional company galas.
The employer must meet the award's criteria for innovation, sustainability, leadership and, above all, be a role model in their work with students.
The prize is awarded to an employer, private or publicly funded business, alternatively a non-profit organization

THE PEDAGOGICAL AWARD
Mid-University's United Student Unions (MFS) nominates two teachers each year, one from each campus location, who are awarded the MFS Pedagogical Award.
The award is an award for outstanding pedagogical efforts within Mittuniversitetet where pedagogical innovation and student learning are given special attention. The award aims to give students an opportunity to reward pedagogical excellence within the university, where each campus has the opportunity to nominate lecturers, teachers and supervisors for their skills in pedagogy.
The MFS educational prize amounts to SEK 10,000 and is paid to the department where the prize winner is employed. The prize money is used by the prize winner for further competence development within the teaching profession. The prize is awarded during Mittuniversitet's academic celebration.
All students have the opportunity to nominate for the MFS educational award. The nomination must apply to a lecturer, teacher or supervisor employed at Mittuniversitetet and include a justification as to why the person should receive the award.
