Seksih är sektionen för studenter vid avdelningen för Omvårdnad (OMV) och Hälsovetenskap vid Mittuniversitetet i Östersund. I sektionen ingår Sjuksköterskeprogrammet, Idrottsvetenskapliga programmet, Förskollärarprogrammet och Ämneslärarprogrammet.

Who are Seksih?

SekSihs uppgift är att arbeta med studiepolitiska och studiesociala frågor kopplat till våra fyra program.

Study policy means monitoring the students' interest and improving the students' education, in terms of, for example, the quality of the education. Together with the university's student representative, we act as a link between you students and the university department. Get in touch with us and we will help you convey and drive your thoughts, opinions or proposals to relevant people and organisations.

The section is also tasked with arranging social events such as sit-ins and cozy evenings as well as lectures and workshops of interest to students in nursing and health sciences. The section can also contribute with financial and practical support to the sponsors during the kick-in periods!

How does the board work?

Styrelsen består av aktiva studenter från våra fyra program som vill förbättra studielivet för studenterna. SekSih har en ordförande, en vice ordförande samt flera ledamot. Vi arbetar tillsammans för att nå våra uppsatta mål och för att allas röster ska bli hörda. Vi
have approximately one meeting a month where we discuss current issues. The meetings are usually kept short and coffee is always offered!
