If you want to be involved and influence your study time and have fun at the same time, the Stek section is for you! Through Stek, you get the opportunity to influence your study time to be as positive an experience as possible for you as a student!

Who are Stek?

The section consists of active students from our three programs who gather at regular intervals in the section's board where together, based on our programs, we address relevant issues from the respective programs.

Stek's mission is to:
- make your education better.
- make your time at university more enjoyable.

What do we do in Stek?

Examples of our activities are sit-ins, quiz nights and guest lectures. We are also there for our programs as a support in studies and a connection between the students and Mittuniversitetet. The members and the board decide themselves how much activity Stek will have
conduct.

Together with the members, we therefore have the opportunity to push and design activities that we think suit us! Another important thing we do is to financially support our program's intro periods.

How often does Stek have meetings?

In normal cases, the members of Stek are invited to a meeting every two weeks. The meetings are usually short and coffee is served!

How do I join Stek?

To join Stek, you need to be a member of the Student Union in Östersund and study one of the programs in tourism, economics or administrative law. You become a member of the board by contacting us and coming to one of our meetings, after attending two meetings you have the opportunity to be elected to the board and get voting rights at our meetings.
