PUB is an independent association that has a cooperation agreement with the Student Union in Östersund and we address you who are studying the Personnel and Work Life Programme.
Welcome to PUB!
By getting involved in PUB, you have the opportunity to influence your study time for the better and together with SPARK we drive the study political issues. We meet with regular board meetings to discuss and plan study-related and social events and of course have a good time together.
PUB is one of many associations around Sweden that is part of P-Riks (Personalvetarstuderandes Riksförbund). This enables us HR students to get involved on a national level and meet other students at the other universities and associations in Sweden. You can read more about what P-Riks is here:

Who are PUBs?
The association consists of active students from the PA program who gather during regular board meetings to plan and discuss upcoming activities and through the SPARK section to study political issues. Members of PUB are also members of P-Riks and there is an opportunity to get involved nationally and meet other HR students.
What does PUB do?
PUB organizes activities of various kinds and the various committees are responsible for each activity. The social committee plans meetings and barbecue evenings. The health committee arranges health-promoting activities, such as paddling, yoga and crossfit. Together, through the SPARK section, the education committee drives political issues relating to all year levels of the program. Examples of our activities are sit-ins, quiz nights and guest lectures. We are also there for our program as a support in the studies and are a link between the students and Mittuniversitetet.
How often does PUB have meetings?
PUB's board holds meetings every two weeks where current and important points are discussed. The meetings usually last about 1.5 -2 hours and we often have coffee together.
How do I join?
To join PUB, you need to be a member of the Student Union in Östersund and read the Personal and Working Life Program. To become part of PUB's board, you are welcome to contact us and send an email where you tell us about yourself, why you want to sit on the board and which position/committee you are interested in.
